Rangeland Energy, LLC Is Pleased To Announce The Addition Of Two New Executives To Its Growing Team

Sugar Land, TX - Rangeland Energy, LLC is pleased to announce that Mr. Rafael Colaco has joined the company as Sr. Vice President, Engineering & Construction and that Mr. Brian Freed has also joined the company as Vice President Business Development.

Mr. Colaco has over 30 years of experience in engineering and project management. His domestic experience includes liquids, natural gas, NGL and petrochemical pipelines, stations, storage and related facilities. He was most recently Vice President, Engineering, Construction and Commercial Relations for Buckeye Gulf Coast Pipe Lines, Houston, Texas. Prior employment included positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and management with Seagull Energy, Northwest Alaskan Pipeline and Gulf Interstate Engineering Company.

Mr. Colaco has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from IIT Bombay, a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas.

Mr. Freed has 11 years of experience in the business processes, operations and software for logistical companies with a focus on the liquids pipeline and terminal industry. He was most recently CEO of Energy Solutions International, which was sold to Oak Tree Capital in September, 2010. In June, 2010 he led the merger and recapitalization of Entessa, which he co-founded and served as President and CEO since 2002, with Energy Solutions. Prior to Entessa, he was a Managing Principal Consultant at Excelon/C-bridge Internet Solutions where he focused on strategic consulting as well as implementing technology solutions for oil and gas companies. Mr. Freed joined C-bridge Internet Solutions from Perot Systems (now Dell). Mr. Freed graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Finance. Before joining private industry, he proudly served as an artillery officer in the United States Army.
